Wird eine Bienenkönigin direkt eingesetzt, wird in den meisten Fällen die Bienenkönigin als Eindringling betrachtet und sofort getötet, da der "Geruch" der eingesetzten Bienenkönigin nicht dem "Geruch" des Bienenvolkes entspricht.
Aus diesem Grund wird zum Einsetzen eine neuen Bienenkönigin ein Zusetz- und Versandkäfig eingesetzt. Idealerweise befindet sich neben der Bienenkönigin noch einige Begleitbienen. Durch den Klarsichtdeckel kann man jederzeit die Bienen kontrollieren. Damit die Bienen ausreichend mit Luft versorgt werden, befinden sich im Unterteil mehrere Schlitze.
Zur Versorgung der Bienen befindet sich eine separate Kammer im Unterteil des Zusetz- und Versandkäfigs für Bienenfutter. Diese Kammer erfüllt 2 Funktionen:
1. Versorgung der Bienen während des Transportes bzw. während eines Versandes
2. Eine Seitenwand dieser Kammer lässt sich herausbrechen und lässt die Bienenkönigin
mit Ihren Begleitbienen frei in dem neuen Bienenvolk
Kurz vor den Einsetzen in dem neuen Bienenvolk kann man durch den Klarsichtdeckel die Bienenkönigin und Ihre Begleitbienen kontrollieren und im Bedarfsfall aufgrund des Schiebedeckels die Kammer mit Bienenfutter wieder neu befüllen. Der Zusetz- und Versandkäfig hat, gegenüber der inneren Futterkammer, eine Aufhängemöglichkeit, so dass die Öffnung an der Außenwand der Futterkammer nach Entfernen des Unterteilsegmentes nach unten hängt.
Normalweise hat die neue Bienenkönigin und Ihre Begleitbienen in der Zeit bis das Bienenfutter aufgebraucht ist, den "Geruch" des Bienenvolkes angenommen und wird nicht mehr als Eindringlinge betrachtet. Nach dem die Futterkammer leer ist, kann die Bienenkönigin mit ihren Begleitbienen den Zusetz- und Versandkäfig in den Bienenstock verlassen.

My teething dog loves it!!

I purchased this dog toy in both the red and the blue and it is my 8 pound puppy’s current favorite toy. She is teething and working away at trying to get those adult molars to come in.
It is approximately 6 inches long and the description says it is for large dogs but I feel that it would be more appropriate for medium to smaller sized dogs. It won’t stand up to really tough chewers. My puppy has already chewed off a few of the little leaves that surround the rose. There’s no squeaker but there are tons of little nubs that make chewing fun and teeth healthy.
With the amount of enjoyment that my puppy is getting from this toy, I feel it is a good value for the money.

Dogs love them!

I had to by one for each one of my dogs after purchasing the first one for the new puppy. All three, pink, red, and blue are the same size fyi. Dogs love them and they seem very durable for my heavy chewers.

90’s me be jealous 🥹
Color: #04 Bronze
26 years later, here I am- the sparkling unicorn of an adult the late 90’s child version of myself DREAMED of while coating ✨EVERYTHING✨ in glitter and shimmer. Only now, I have an Amazon card and the impulse control of a toddler, so I sparkle now 🤩.
Am I 40 years old? Absolutely.
Did my kindergarteners at school ask why I sparkle now? Absolutely.
Did my mid-life crisis self lie to them, and say because I’m a magical unicorn? Absolutely.
Did they believe me? ABSOLUTELY.
10/10 recommend, but only if you too want to live your best magical unicorn life!
Technical notes- the smell is light and lovely. It dries without a “feel” so I forget I even have it on. The shimmer is noticeable, but not like I rolled in glitter. I’m enjoying the bronze glimmer color, but I’m sure will be back soon for more. I could easily spray more if I wanted to be more blatant with my attention seeking. I will absolutely be using this stuff from now until I’m in my grave with no shame!
