A repair kit for the Vango Sherbourne 800 Tent. These replacement fibreglass sections will be supplied longer than required and will need to be cut down to size with a junior hacksaw.

Consists of:

• 2 x 13mm and 2 x 11mm black fibreglass pole sections all fitted with a metal end ferrule
• 1 Length of shock cord elastic which measures 4m and will stretch to 7m approx
• Threading Tool which is a steel wire with a sharp hook on one end, used to re-thread the elastic

Usage: Ideal as an emergency repair kit or to replace broken sections within a pole run. Replacement fibreglass tent pole sections are supplied at a length of 68.5cm (including ferrule) so you may need to cut them to size with a junior hacksaw.

How to use:

Disassemble the current pole assembly as follows:

1. Hook the elastic holding pole sections at the end nearest the broken section and pull out so the knot can be undone (or if necessary cut off).
2. Release the elastic and pull back through the pole sections to the broken section taking care to keep the pole sections in the correct order.
3. Remove the damaged section.

Reassemble poles as follows:

1. Replace the broken section with the new section.
2. Using a length of wire fixed to the end of the elastic (e.g. using tape) feed the elastic through all the poles in the correct order and re-knot at the end.
