Either gain stage does not have a drastic alteration in volume from the other. The Tube Factor is a true tube amp preamp in a pedal format, operating at amp-like response and voltage levels from being powered by 12VDV at 700mA (power supply included). Turn any clean amplifier into a Hughes and Kettner overdrive platform with an organic response and gain for days.
